Description:

Set in the beautiful Cascades just outside of the Willamette Valley basin, Silver Falls State Park encompasses 10 beautiful waterfalls, ranging from 27 to 177 feet in height. The park offers more than 25 miles of hiking trails, winding throughout the wooded slopes, past the rushing Silver Creek and even behind some of the falls. A large campground provides visitors with ample room for overnight stays at the park, which is a 26-mile drive east of Salem.

Hours of Operation:

Trails open Mar and Oct: 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.; Apr and Sep: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.; May: 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.; Jun - Aug: 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.; Nov - Feb: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Campground open year round.
